Meet Bec. Bec has been teaching and attending birthing people for over 20 years. She has seen a deep connection between the body, the mind and the heart; a connection which she works to share with her students and birthing mothers.

Bec admits that “When I had my baby, I had the luxury of already having seen the options of what was out there, and being able to choose specifically where and how I wanted to prepare.” Now she wants to share that wisdom and insight with you so you can make the choice that is exactly right for YOU.

Bec’s classes focus on developing strength and flexibility while learning to respect and listen to the body's wisdom. Her gentle teaching style allows students to deepen their practice while working at their own pace.

    Join us live on Zoom for weekly prenatal and postnatal yoga classes. You’ll be able to share your requests for what you’d like me to focus on and I’ll walk you through the best poses to support you throughout any stage of pregnancy or postpartum. Can’t make the livestream? Take any class on replay from our extensive class library!

  • Childbirth Education

    As a doula who has assisted in over 300 births, I can help you navigate your pregnancy to a safe, healthy, natural birth. My approach is to help you balance both physical strength and mental clarity which brings you to labor ready to work, and able to release into the experience! When I founded Om Births I started from a solid belief that your body isn't sick or injured when you are pregnant or a new parent, and that you can do hard things. BUT the body is changing, and we have to respect those changes, and work in detail with what is happening. A balanced practice not only influences how we feel during pregnancy, but can help in an easier labor, and a smoother postpartum recovery! Win Win Win!!!

If you've taken an Om Births Livestream class you know we don't just flow through postures mindlessly. I have studied prenatal movement extensively, and I love bringing strong practices into class in a safe and mindful way.  I teach from evidence-based information about safe alignment and stretching during pregnancy so you can feel confident listening to your body and exploring its range and limits, without causing yourself injury.

We also go beyond just physical posture. My prenatal and postnatal yoga classes infuse mindfulness exercises throughout the practice so you can develop mental stamina and have ways to take your practice off the mat and into the rest of your life. This is not yoga in a bubble, but yoga for your life and in your world.
